Jay Kim is an international K-pop dance choreographer from South Korea. He is known to have held K-pop workshops in 43 countries and 82 cities across the world, such as in Japan, China, U.S.A. Sweden, Mexico, France, South Africa, Greece, Austria, Nigeria, Paraguay, Italy to mention a few. He has instructed in the 1 million dance studio; he is also an instructor at Millennium Dance in Singapore. He is the founder of Steps with Jay. A dance trainer at Leon Entertainment and Forest Entertainment. He has an Instagram page with over 60,000 followers, and some of his dance videos on YouTube have millions of views. He has also collaborated with artists like Luhan, Jay Park, and KAACCHI, to mention a few.

During the Kpop festival event in Lagos, Nigeria, held on Saturday, July 29th 2023, Jay Kim was part of the judges, and during the course of the event, he also gave an amazing dance Choreography to the song Nothing On Me By KAI. This Choreography was perfectly done, and it wowed the crowd, which made everyone cheer across all sections of the theatre hall.


At the end of the event, in a 1-minute onsite interview I asked and did a short interview which was on July 29th 2023, at the Kpop Festival event, held at Terra Kulture, Plot 1376 Tiamiyu Savage St. Victoria Island , Lagos, Nigeria . Honorary reporter Kadishi asked Jay Kim to please share his experience at the Kpop Festival and participants’ performance, and Jay Kim, replied that It was nice, and the dancers really did well, and I enjoyed seeing the dance”

In the interview, Jay Kim also mentioned that he has a K-pop dance academy class where he is the 2023 K-pop Academy dance instructor. These classes would take place in the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria, Abuja, where he would teach kpop dance.
