Temple stay fashion style is something that everyone gets to experience during temple stay program. Most importantly temple fashion involves people dressing very modest and conservative.
Different Buddhist temples have their requirements for the fashion style and in most temple stays, the official temple attire is shared. It is important to note that any dress worn at the temple should be conservative and neat. Revealing clothes like.Mini skirt, shorts, sleeveless tops are not allowed. Also, bright coloured cloth should be avoided and most importantly strong perfume and excessive accessories and makeup is not acceptable.
For my temple stay I was giving a white rubber shoe, a trouser and a top which I paired with my turtle neck cardigan as items cold. The colour of the attire was grey and it was very comfortable. Anyway, whenever you are going to the temple some of the fashion attires to carry for a temple stay is majorly based on the weather. So make sure you are with jackets and warm clothing that are not bright colours. The clothes shouldn’t be revealing. A lot of activities would be done done in the early hours of the morning and then late evenings.
