Hello friends, i got selected for the KOICA WeKO Global Ambassador Supporters Program and i am so happy i want to share with you what it is about. I am glad to be one of the 100 supporters/ member of the WeKO 7th. I am also one of the two Nigerians selected as KOICA Nigeria Global Ambassador. So join me as i express my KOICA’s vision and aspirations for the WeKO 7th journey in this post i aim to capture the vibe of the WeKO program and my expectations for the experience.
WHAT IS WeKO and KOICA : Why did i join the Program? And my. Experience of Online KICK OFF Ceremony
WeKO stands for We are KOICA, and KOICA stands for The Korean International Cooperation Agency. I am excited and proud to support KOICA Vision and ODA, which is Official Development Assistance, and several government aids, grants and activities KOICA carries out. I joined KOICA Global Supporter’s WeKO program, as it aligns with my passion for Official Development Assistance (ODA) and global development. I have developed a deep interest in exploring the intersections of economic development, culture, and global cooperation. I am also a Korean culture enthusiast. So, being part of WeKO gives me a purpose and an opportunity to contribute to KOICA’s mission, promote its values, and learn from its initiatives. I participated in the Online KICK OFF Ceremony and guess what i learnt in details KOICA ODA activities, the Top 10 Beneficiaries of KOICA ODA. to mention a few.
The 4 Ways I connect with KOICA WeKO
I have a background in Economic History and International Studies. I also Champion for Climate change and Eco-feminism. I volunteer for programs and initiatives that promote digital Literacy and the digital economy such as the Future Mind Initiaive In Nigeria program where i spent weeks teaching People how to Use the Computer aiding Digital literacy. I also have been Volunteering to Spead Korean Culture and activities.
Expressing KOICA Vision and my Aspiration
My Vision and aspiration is to amplify KOICA’s, efforts, impacts and activities outcomes in my country and around the world. I promise to do my Best to contribute to KOICA’s mission, promote its values, KOICA ODA and create meaningful, informative and impactful contents on SDGs and ODAs.
My Expectation from the KOICA WeKO
My expectation is to part of the individuals who foster cultural exchange while I get the opportunity to meet other participants from around the world who support global development goals. I hope to gain more knowledge and expertise in the field of international development cooperation. I pledge to faithfully comply with responsibility and duties as the 7th members of WeKO
