KCC NIGERIA would be holding a Korean cooking class for 5 days, it would Hold from the1st to 5th of July 2024. The Korean cooking class will address the class topic: KOREAN CUISINE USING JANG to join the 2024 Hansik(Korean food) contest.

4. KOREAN COOKING CONTEST
The Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria will hold a 2024 Hansik(Korean Food) Contest. The theme of the contest is Korean traditional Jang (fermented sauces) culture based Korean cuisine.

2. Eligibility and Team Composition
1) Eligibility: Nigerians, Foreigners (Korean nationals are not allowed to participate)
2) Team Composition: Each team can consist of up to 2 members (1 individual team is also possible)
3. Prizes
1st Place: 1,000,000 Naira
2nd Place: 700,000 Naira
3rd Place: 400,000 Naira
Online Preliminary Round
1) Submission Period: June 27 (Thu) – July 24 (Wed) / Announcement of 2nd round Competitors : August 2 (Fri) via email
2) Preliminary Topic : Korean dishes using Jang (e.g., Gochujang, Doenjang, Soy Sauce)
3) How to Participate : Choose and cook at least 1 dish from 6 categories (Noodle, Rice, Soup, Street Food, Vegetable, Chicken) using Jang. Submit participant information, photos, videos, recipes, and reflections through Google Forms.
