KOREAN DRAMAS TO LOOK OUT FOR IN MAY 2022

The first quarter of 2022 brought us amazing Korean content that would be impossible to erase from our memories but it is to be expected because… when I think of dramas like twenty-five twenty-one,  business proposaland forecasting love and weather,  all I really want to do is go back in time and watch them repeatedly. Thankfully, I can.

However, May has got some absolutely binge worthy content and while we wave goodbye to April, here’s four Korean dramas that you should watch out for May!

The first on our list is The sound of Magic.

The sound of magic tells the tale of Yoon Ah Yi who was abandoned by her parents as a result of bad debts. Yoon Ah Yi is a student with a part time job and traumas from her past and yet she manages to remain on top of her class. Her only wish is to grow up as fast as possible so she can get a stable job which she thinks will solve most of her problems. She communicates her wish to Lee Eul the magician and her life changes forever.

The sound of magic was originally titled, Annarasumanara but was changed to enable the drama to get better reception from Western viewers.  It is also based on the western by Ha II-Kwon so this is looking like a blockbuster already.
