ROYAL SECRET AGENT
It is a historical comedy set in the era of Joseon dynasty; The drama shows how corrupt public officials killed a secret royal inspector. Thus, this led to a need for an investigation on the corrupt practices of public officers. This led to Sung Yi Gum to be assigned as the new secret royal inspector. This was a punishment because he was caught gambling as a state top scorer who works in the administrate and research department office that was a crime. He was paired with a female inspector and a servant. This drama aired on KBS from December 21st to February 9th 2021, and it has 16 episodes starring Kim Myung Soo, Kwon Nara etc. This drama is interesting.
RIVER WHERE THE MOON RISES
This drama is a historical romance drama which aired from February 15th to April 20th 2021. It tells a story from classic Goguryeo folktale, the drama characters namely princess Pyeonggang uses the feeling of the man On Dals to achieve her goals of re-establishing the status of Goguryeo and becoming the first female Taewang, especially since she was trained to be a killer of sinners she was skilled. It is a very political historical drama with a lot of political plots starting from the first episode when Go Won Pyo of Gyeru tribe threatened to attack king Pyeongwon because of the exclusive right to salt.
